COOPER CREEK TRAIL TO LINDLEY HUT

Trail: Cooper Creek Trail to Lindley Hut
Region: Castle Creek Valley
Difficulty: easy
Description: Cooper Creek trail is a lovely hike along the creek and is an alternative to hiking Pearl Pass road. The trail winds through a riparian ecosystem. Lindley Hut is located at the foot of Star Peak at 10,480', near the head of the Castle Creek Valley south of the city of Aspen, Colorado
Directions: Travel 1/2 mile west on Highway 82 from Aspen to the roundabout. Go around the roundabout and turn right onto Castle Creek Road. The beginning of this route is about 2 miles beyond Ashcroft.
